So Jeremiah 29:11-13 is awesome, but sometimes very frustrating when life doesn't seem to be going in a direction that seems like it will "give me a hope and a future" but I have to trust and know that God is God and He is in control...
So I have had a lot of things going on in my life and I haven't blogged about any of them anywhere ('cept my private entries on here).
So here is the breakdown:
- Decided to run for College Activities Board (CAB) president around May 6th
- Started working for Mayflower trucking May 8th
- Longtime girlfriend broke up with me May 8th
- Thought my dad and I had found and purchased a car for me mid-May
- Dad called to tell me he decided not to do it 4 days later
Suffered from depression for multiple reasons mostly involving the change in the most significant relationship I've ever had for about 3 weeks following the car disappointment
- Found out I got "elected" as CAB president May 31st
- Have since been struggling with and recovering from depression and lots of unfamiliar feelings of loneliness and other things because of the big changes in my life.
- Went to Hermiston July 20-23
- Went to Creation Festival NW July 25-29
So here I am. That is my summer in a nutshell. Please pray for me in all my goings-on this coming school year since I will be approaching college as a single man for the first time and will be the leader or leaders on the College Activities Board - NERVOUS!
Oh and for something completely different and way more fun and not at all sad...
